Information Collection, Storage, Use and Transfer

“Services Data” is data collected by us in order to allow us to provide the Services to you and our customers that have entered into an agreement with us to provide Services (“Customers”). The Services Data is collected from your browser or directly from our Customers and includes information such as your IP address (which in certain instances may be truncated or rendered pseudonymous), a unique Customer ID number, the date and time of use of our Services, and your activity on Customers’ websites. We use Services Data to provide you Customer product and service recommendations either on Customer websites or through Customer emails. In the future, we may decide to use Services Data to provide you such recommendations and advertisements through other forms of digital distribution. 

“Personal Information” means individually identifiable information that would allow a party to identify you or to contact you (online or offline). This type of information may include, for example, your name, address, telephone number, or email address. 

Certain Customers of ours (such as our retail business partners) provide us with Personal Information (including particularly email addresses) that they have obtained from you with your consent for the sole purpose of enabling us to personalize emails from those Customers to you using our product recommendation services or otherwise to provide the Services. We may store, process, use and/or transfer Personal Information for one or more of the following purposes:

(a)administering, facilitating, processing and/or dealing in any matters relating to your use or access of the Sites and other online services provided by us; 

(b)monitoring, processing and/or tracking your use of the Sites in order to facilitate and administer your use of the Sites; 

(c)administering, facilitating, processing and/or dealing with your relationship with us, or any transactions or activities carried out by you on the Sites; 

(d)carrying out your instructions or responding to any enquiry given by (or purported to be given by) you or on your behalf, or responding to or dealing with your interactions with us; (e)contacting you or communicating with for the purposes of administering and/or managing your use of the Sites and/or your relationship with us;

(i)carrying out due diligence or other screening activities (including background checks) in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations (whether Vietnam or foreign country) applicable to us or our affiliates and/or the requirements or guidelines of governmental authorities (whether Vietnam or foreign country) which we determine are applicable to us or our affiliates; 

(j)complying with or as required by any applicable law, court order and/or order or request of any regulatory or governmental body; 

(k)storing, hosting, backing up of your Personal Information; 

(l)maintaining and developing our business systems and infrastructure including testing and upgrading of these systems; 

(m)dealing with and/or facilitating an investment or a potential investment (including any purchase or sale of business, assets or equity), where such investment involves Pique or its affiliate as a participant;

Other than for the above purposes, we will not disclose your Personal Information to any third party unless specifically and rightfully instructed or directed to do so by Customer, and will not otherwise share, disclose, rent, or sell any such Personal Information except as requested or directed by Customer or as we believe may be required by law or to otherwise protect our legal rights. Transfers to subsequent third parties, if any, are covered by the service agreements with our Customers. If you would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Customers that use our Services, please contact our Customer that you interact with directly. 

For the avoidance of doubt, in the event that applicable local data protection law permits an organisation such as us to collect, use or transfer your Personal Information without your consent, such permission granted by the law shall continue to apply.

Cookies and Tracking Technology

Cookies or similar technologies are used by Pique and third-party advertising exchanges that we use so that we may advertise our Customers’ products and services on Customers’ websites. “Cookies” are small data files that contain a string of characters that are sent to your computer browser from our servers when our Services are accessed. We may use Cookies to distinguish you from other users on the Site. Accordingly, Cookies allow us to save your preference information to improve the quality of our Services and to allow Customers to offer you a better experience on their websites through more personalized recommendations and advertisements. These technologies are also used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our userbase as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis. The information we collect from cookies is only used in conjunction with your use of Services and is not shared by us with any third party. PIQUE CANNOT AND DOES NOT USE COOKIES TO DETERMINE ANY INDIVIDUAL’S ACTUAL IDENTITY.

We gather certain information automatically from our customers’ websites and store it in log files. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the Services. We do not link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.

Disable Cookies

You have the right to decide whether or not to accept cookies. By default, most Web browsers are set up to accept cookies. Disclosure of Aggregated Information

We may disclose aggregated information about the use of Services to business partners, prospective investors, and others. Additionally, we may produce industry-standard traffic reports for assessing use of Services. This information cannot be traced back to you personally.


We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we process. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. 

We retain Services Data only for so long as it remains relevant to providing you with recommendations on our Customers’ Websites or to the extent permitted by law. We will retain this Personal Information for as long as needed to provide services to our Customers. Our Sites and Other Sources of Personal Information

Our Sites require certain Personal Information to maintain account information and communicate with Customers and potential Customers regarding use of Services. Additional Personal Information may be needed in the future by us or by partners in order to provide Customers with additional products and services. We limit access to specific contact information internally to only those employees and contractors who design and maintain the system information stores or who have a reasonable need to come in contact with and make use of such information for account purposes.

Our Sites include links to other websites or online applications whose privacy practices may differ from those of Pique. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. If you post comments to the Blog pages on the Sites, you should be aware that any Personal Information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the Personal Information you choose to submit in your comments. Social Media Widgets

Our Sites include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and widgets. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.
